Make-a-Wish Annual Wish Ball

What’s better than making wishes come true for children battling critical illnesses? We don’t know, but we do know that being a part of the annual Wish Ball in Lincoln has been a rewarding experience for everyone at Schworer. We were able to donate a mini, kids-size, battery-powered Volkswagen Beetle to the silent auction, to help raise funds that go to give kids and their families more hope and help make life a little better during difficult times.

The annual Wish Ball: Wishes Are Forever was held on February 18, 2023 at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln and raised over $200,000 for Wish Kids in Nebraska. Throughout the evening, event attendees took part in the silent and live auctions, and heard about the impact a wish can have on local children battling critical illnesses.

For every wish granted, there are three more children with critical illnesses whose wishes need your financial support. Every 20 minutes, a child is ​diagnosed with a critical illness. 15 wishes will be granted each day because of generous donors.
