Car Seat Safety Checks with Safe Kids of Lancaster County Health Department

At Schworer we proudly provide space in Lincoln for safety. We are one of the Safe Kids Car Seat Safety Program locations for monthly car seat safety checks with the Lancaster County Department of Health. Why? Because safety matters and so do the children of Lincoln.

Through Safe Kids, families can sign-up for free and come to Schworer, where they meet with a certified child restraint system technician, who will teach and assist the whole family in proper installation of their child’s car seat.

At Schworer, we know car seat education is the difference between life and death.

Safe Kids Lincoln-Lancaster is led by Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, which provides dedicated and caring staff, operation support and other resources to assist in achieving our common goal: keeping your kids safe.

Based on the needs of the community, this coalition implements evidence-based programs, such as car-seat checkups, safety workshops and sports clinics, that help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries.
