The ballots are in and the 2018 Volkswagen Jetta has taken home top honors in the compact car category in the J.D. Power 2018 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study. Eighteen other compact cars were in the same category including the 2018 Volkswagen Golf which took home second place. Volkswagen has produced a specialty 2019 Jetta model coined the Bonneville Jetta that they will use to attempt a speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Wendover, Utah this August. The Bonneville Jetta is equipped with a specially-tuned Volkswagen TSI turbocharged engine and other feature and design enhancements that help to increase its speed potential. (more…)
