2019 Volkswagen Arteon Release Date

As you can imagine, the 2019 Volkswagen Arteon is in high demand and we already have customers asking about its arrival. While we don’t know specifics, Volkswagen did announce that it plans to release the 2019 Arteon sometime in the third quarter of 2018. Hopefully, it will be just in time for an end of summer joy ride.

Standard and Available Features

The 2019 Arteon will be available in three trim levels: SE, SEL, and SEL Premium. Car shoppers can look forward to standard and available amenities like keyless entry and push-button start, a power trunk, Apple CarPlay, Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, a panoramic sunroof, and an 8-inch touchscreen display.

Active Safety

Following the trend of other VW models, the 2019 Arteon will offer modern active safety features including a standard forward collision warning system and a blind spot monitoring system. Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, Light Assist, Park Assist, and an Area View camera will also be available.

Engine Options

Each 2019 VW Arteon model will be powered by the same 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI engine. The engine is rated at 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and will be paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Drivers interested in Volkswagen 4Motion all-wheel drive will be able to add it to any trim.

People First Warranty

Like most current 2018 Volkswagen models, the 2019 VW Arteon will come standard with the Volkswagen People First Warranty that offers limited bumper-to-bumper transferable coverage for 6-years or 72,000 miles (whichever occurs first).
